Job Title: Journeyman Line Tech – Battle Creek – 1 position
Department: Operations
Reports To: Foreman
FLSA Status: Full-Time Non-Exempt
Summary
Responsible for performing diversified work or construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground distribution and transmission lines and substations. Works on energized or de-energized lines with or without supervision. Represents Elkhorn Rural Public Power District to consumers.
Education:
Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and at least 4 year’s experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements
1. Must have a valid CDL driver’s license.
2. Must be available for planned and emergency overtime as required.
3. Must be available for on-call duty as required.
4. Must live within 20 minutes of reporting site.
5. Employees are subject to random drug testing as per DOT guidelines.
Salary range: Journeyman (5+ yrs. experience) – $46.95 – $51.87
